Hindi Pa Huli :D Part 1

Before I started my own blog site on November 1, 2010, ang October 30 at 31, 2010 ay ang mga araw na nagpaganda ng ending ng aking October 2010 at hahabol sila sa aking blog.

October 30, 2010 Saturday "Biyahe.Cell.Movie.Crepe.Uwi"

This day became usual as what I have done since the semestral break started. I texted my cell leader (as far as i can remember medyo late morning yun) and asked if may plans ba for the day and I assumed na wala kasi he normally text us the day before. He replied as what I have expected na wala nga, but just a few minutes after, he changed his mind at sinabing magcell sa SM Fairview and then watch the movie entitled "Buried" by 7 PM. At the back of my mind, nasabi kong ang tagal ko ng hindi pumupunta ng fairview na hindi ko na sure kung nakapunta nga ako kaya naman I texted bren na magsabay na lang kami papuntang SM fairview. Nung kinagabihan, kami ay nagmeet malapit sa aming bahay although medyo late na rin since natraffic siya on the way to my house galing ng Batangas. As usual, dali dali kaming sumakay papuntang Fairview. (Hindi ko inexpect na ganun pala kalayo ang Fairview XD).

Arrived at SM Fairview....

Hinanap ang Burger King....

Nahanap at nakita ang Cell Leader kasama ang Co-12....

Nagcell concerning sa selflessness (aba dapat nga lang maging selfless :D)...

Bumili ng dineer sa BK then went straight to the movie part...

Pinanuod ang movie na Buried which was directed by  Rodrigo Cortés and starring  Ryan Reynolds (the movie for me was not perfect 10 let say mga 8 lang kasi the end left me frustrated at natawa na lang ako...ika nga expect the unexpected)...

Matapos manood ay nakipagkita sa kararating pa lamang na Co-12 at nagcell ulit with the same topic to him ang aming cell leader...(at this point we went to crepes and cream...yan ang naalala kong name and honestly nabusog ako lalo haha)

Then umuwi na... :D

October 31, 2010 Sunday "BATHtism at Swimming"

This day's event started early morning around 8 AM (ang aga namin ni Bren nakarating ng center at past 8 na nagkitakita which was not the time set...hehehe). Ang araw na ito ay ang baptism ng aming network at ang aming network leader ay si kuya Noel. Although not all of the network's member were present, the event went well. 

Naglakad papunta sa venue habang kausap si bren...

Nakarating sa venue at nagbihis ng swimming shorts...

Lumangoy sa pool...

Nagbigay ng Word ang kuya Noel concerning baptism...

 Ang mga naalala ko sa mga sinabi niya ay:

1. Early times in PUBLIC ang Baptism

2. Baptism is not a ritual and nothing magical will happen

3. Baptism is removing and leaving the "old" you underwater (at gaya nga nga sabi sa     

SOL 1 ito ay pagsubmerge sa tubig)

Afterwards, we went to our respective cell leaders at dun na nagsimula ang baptism. Of course, nagdemo ang kuya noel para mas maintindihan namin ang actual na mangyayari. The cell leader will pray for you, then babangitin ang Great Commission as what is wrtitten in Matthew 28:19 and then the leader will submerge you (bago nga rin pala magsimula, sinabi na after ilubog ay sisigaw kami some sort of declaration). Ang naisigaw ko sa akin ay Awesome God! (in other words, God is Awesome!).

¹⁹ Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit

On the other hand, after the individual baptism ay nag group baptism kami. Naghawak kamay, then kuya noel said na this time GLORY and isisigaw kasi yun daw yung commonly used na word nung nagsisimula palang ang destiny. The event ends nung kumain kami ng snacks then usap usap. (dito ko nalaman that Julie's bakeshop sells bread that are in boxes :D).

The baptism actually ended around lunch time and upon arriving sa center, we ate at a nearby eatery for our lunch then I went home to have some sleep kasi matagal pa bago mag worship service :).

Marami pang nangyari sa araw na ito so I would simply continue it as a part 2 :D. 'Til Here. Adios Amigo....at napansin kong dapat Amiga rin :)

P.S. I suddenly remember na may isa pang nabanggit si kuya noel about baptism and it was that whenever temptation comes, manhid ka na and hindi mo na ito papansinin 'coz the "old" you ay naiwan na underwater :) (yun ang naalala ko. basta ganyan ang sense :D)
